In 2015, the petrochemical plant, which was dismantled and transported to Adana by two Turkish engineers and entrepreneurs in 2015, produces 50,000 tons of polystyrene annually. The owner of the plant, Dioki, is preparing to build the second factory to be built entirely with domestic technology, including the reactor.
Toros Adana Yumurtalık Free Zone (TAYSEB), which operates A.Sefa Küçükboyacı, CEO of Dioki Petrochemicals Industry, said they employ 100 people, mainly 280 thousand tons of products to the domestic market, as well as exports.
